Can I pay to be listed or reviewed on E-SURFER?
No. E-SURFER only lists and reviews products it has tested itself, and that decision is independent. Lakeberg Marine is a separate business. Buying a consulting service does not buy a listing, a review or a recommendation.
Why do you work for only one manufacturer per category?
Because you would not want your direct competitor to receive the same advice at the same time. Ask whether your category is open before you send details.
Why do you ask for payment in advance?
Most of our clients are based outside the EU, and one-off services such as the assessment are the first piece of work we do together. Payment in advance keeps it simple for both sides. Ongoing services are also paid in advance, monthly or quarterly.
Which languages do you work in?
Consulting takes place in English or German. This website is also available in Chinese so that manufacturers from China can read about our services in their own language.
Do you guarantee sales?
No. You get our professional assessment and our working time. Sales depend on the product, the price, the season and many other factors outside our control.
Which countries do you cover?
The European Union plus the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. Most manufacturers start with a few core markets.
Who is the contracting party?
Lakeberg GmbH in Berlin, Germany. Lakeberg Marine is a trade name of Lakeberg GmbH, and all invoices are issued by Lakeberg GmbH.
Do you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes, if you wish. Everything you share with us is treated as confidential in any case.
